Biodiesel is the term for a clean burning alternative fuel, usually produced from domestic, renewable
sources. Biodiesel is produced through a chemical reaction of alcohol and vegetable oils or animal fats
and greases. The a refinery process is called transesterification in which a chemical reaction seperates
the oils and fats into two basic chemicals, glycerin and methyl esters(the chemical name for biodiesel).
The resulting Bio-Diesel can be used as fuel and the byproduct, glycerin, can be used in soaps and
other products.

You can use Bio-Diesel in Diesel Passenger Vehicles, Marine Diesel Engines, Diesel Trucks, Diesel Buses
and in Diesel Generators. In Short, if it's a Diesel Engine, it can run on Bio-Diesel with little or no modifications
(older engines may need to change fuel lines, filters, gasgets etc...).

Biodiesel offers both Passenger Vehicle Operators and Fleet Operators a safer, cleaner alternative to
petroleum diesel. Biodiesel operates in conventional compression-ignition engines just like petroleum diesel.
Generally, no engine modifications are required, and biodiesel maintains the payload capacity and range of
regular Petro
Diesel. Vehicle hoses should be checked after the first few months of operation with biodiesel.
Replacement of old rubber hoses with new synthetic hoses may be necessary, but is not usually difficult or
expensive. You may also need to change your fuel filter after running Bio-Diesel if your engine has significant
miles from regular Diesel(Bio-Diesel acts as a detergent on the inside of your engine components. It cleans
out all the old Diesel Deposits which then may accumulate in the Fuel Filter.)
